Work-introduction Meeting of Standards between CSA and

Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department Was Held

CSA and Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing on March 8, 2013. Under the framework of this agreement, both parties would carry out strategic cooperation in standard setting, project development, technology services and testing system construction. In order to achieve this goal, both parties would establish a regular work delivery mechanism to promote sustainable and efficient strategic cooperation.

Two work-introduction meetings were held inBeijingand Zhuhai on April 15 and May 3 respectively. The meetings highlighted discussion and introduction on CSA's "Interface Requirements for Application of LED Lighting" and "LED Standardized Lighting" of Guangdong province. More than 20 experts from both sides attended the meeting.

Experts from Guangdong Province briefed the progress and development of the " LED Standardized Lighting", including basic concepts, the overall architecture and technology features. Zhou Xiang, vice-president of State Key Laboratory of Solid-state Lighting（SKL）, reported on behalf of the CSA, the background, objectives, content and the progress of standards for interface requirements of SSL application.

After deeply understanding both parties' development ideas of standards, progress and the achievements, experts attending the meeting proposed scientific and rational delivery content by analyzing the basic concepts, overall architecture and technology features. Experts presented specific programs of convergence and integration in the technical aspects, laying the foundation for further cooperation of standards.
